Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle;

John R. Nazzaro, 83, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at Blaire House in Tewksbury.

He was the devoted husband for many years of the late Donna M. (Mitchell) Nazzaro.

Born in Cambridge, MA, on February 1, 1942, the loving son of the late Vincent and the late Marie (Carchia) Nazzaro, he graduated from Belmont High School Class of 1960.

John then attended Lowell Technological Institute and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He continued his education at The University of Bridgeport where he earned his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

For many years, he worked as an electrical engineer for Analogic Corp., a healthcare technology company in Wakefield, where he helped develop MRI and other scanning technology.

An avid outdoors enthusiast, John liked spending his free time running, camping, skiing, or going to the beach. He also enjoyed taking his kids to video arcades and ice cream stands.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine M. Middleton and her husband George of Washington, DC; two sons, Jeffrey J. Nazzaro and his wife Collette of California, and Kevin Nazzaro and his wife Bethany of Andover, MA; seven grandchildren, Jyo, Jay, and Jenna Nazzaro of Japan, Julia and James Nazzaro of Andover, MA, and Theo and Maisie Nazzaro of California; two sisters, Ellen Costa and her husband Harold of Norwood, MA, and Mary Quinton and her husband Michael of Barrington, NH; a brother, Vincent Nazzaro and his wife Nancy of San Antonio, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

John was also the brother of the late Peter Nazzaro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at ST. ROBERT BELLARMINE CHURCH in ANDOVER at 11 o'clock followed by his burial at the St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com.
