John Nemes Obituary
John spent more than 15 years of his career at Ford Motor Company, working as a Software Engineer in the Finance Department.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, completing three years of service while stationed in Korea.
John enjoyed cooking, and Sunday breakfasts became a long-standing family routine. He was known for his silly "dad" jokes and for playing cards and dice games with his grandchildren. Music was a constant throughout his life; he learned multiple instruments, played guitar in a band as a teenager, and continued to play throughout his life.
His hobbies included playing cards with family and friends, bowling, and golf.
John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Nemes; his children, Douglass (Penny) Nemes, Jessica (Steve) Morgan, and John (Ashley) Nemes; his grandchildren, Eli and Samuel Nemes, and Bradley and Alex Morgan; and his sister, Maggie (Joe) Wilson.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
