John grew up in North Caldwell, NJ. He was an avid lover of the outdoors and found deep peace and comfort in nature. Whether walking or riding his mountain bike along a long, winding trail, he felt most at home surrounded by the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Before settling in Kinnelon, John lived in Northern California and Seattle. Places he remembered fondly for their breathtaking landscapes and connection to nature. His appreciation for the world around him was evident to all who knew him and served as an inspiration to live more simply, breathe more deeply, and notice the beauty in each day.
We pray that John has found his peace in Jesus, now surrounded by the majestic splendor of heaven. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
John is survived by his mother Bernice; his sister Lia Nicoletti and his step-brother Scott Enchelmaier. He was predeceased by his step-father William J. Enchelmaier, his step-brother William F. Enchelmaier, and his father, John P. Nicoletti.
Memorial service will be held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Chilton Medical Center, Pompton Plains NJ in memory of John. To donate please visit: Ways to Give
