John Howard Nunn

John Howard Nunn, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born in Galveston, Texas in 1954, John's life was marked by his loving nature, his keen sense of humor, and his generous spirit.

As a native of Galveston, John carried the city in his heart, along with friendships made there. He graduated from Ball High School and held many jobs in his life including truck driver, lighting technician, and store clerk, to name a few. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, especially making things for family. He was particularly fond of dolphins and had an extensive collection which he cherished. Once John's health issues limited his mobility, he found solace in the stories told on screen through his favorite television programs and movies.

John is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Nunn, his mother, Rachel Nunn, and his brother, Billy Kelsall.

He is survived by his brother Paul Nunn and wife, Barbara, of San Antonio, Texas; his brother, Phillip Nunn of LaMarque, Texas; and his many nieces and nephews.
