John built two houses for us, and was currently renovating an old guest house. We have known him 15 years, and have the greatest admiration for his integrity, kindness, and competence. A truly wonderful man.

Condolences to John's family, and to Margaret and Bill. Growing up on Spencer Shores Drive on Little Lake Hamilton we all ran together some days even though we were different ages. When my parents home was destroyed in the tornado in 98 and needed to be rebuilt we asked John to handle the day to day supervision for us, building one of my floor plans that we customized to fit their needs. He did a terrific job. My folks truly enjoyed working with him.

John Olson was truly one of a kind and left an immemorial impression on everyone he came in contact with. He was a proud father, a supportive husband, a hard working, conscientious, successful businessman and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. John had the unique ability to do the right thing, no matter what the circumstances might be - whether on the golf course with his buddies or in a business meeting with his clients - he always seemed to instinctively know just what to do or say regardless of the situation.
Needless to say, Christy, Webb, Luke and his entire family are going to miss John immensely and no words of condolences could ever be enough. With that said, our thoughts, prayers and support are with John´s family. John´s legacy is he made us all better human beings because we were fortunate enough to know him and left the world a better place through his example. God bless you, John.

John was one of the best people I've ever met. Our son, Michael was lucky enough to be in the same cub scout pack as Webb and Luke. We spent many many weekends camping with the group. Those days were some of the best times and all of our kids were blessed to have such a great role model in their early years. We are praying for peace for your family.

I had the pleasure of working for John about 20 years ago. He was a kind person and always a gentleman. My favorite memories of John were playing golf with him and his witty commentary on my severe lack of skill in the game of golf. His golf talents were on the other end of the spectrum... I think the most talented golfer I have ever played with. I know he will be missed, my condolences to all his family and friends. RIP John :(

While working with my son Dr Claude A Hearn I saw John many times as a patient cleaning his teeth. He always greeted me with a smile and referred to me respectfully as Signore Doctor Hearn. I will remember John as a gentle soul

I´ve known John for well over 20 years now, we have worked on countless projects. As a young man trying to fill the shoes of a family business it was always a pleasure talking with him and listening to the advice he had to offer. John was as creative as they come, there wasn´t a project that he was afraid of or not willing to tackle. Needless to say I learned a lot from him, he was great man and will be tremendously missed.
