Obituary of John Francis Panik Sr.
John Francis Panik Sr., loving husband & Grandfather passed away on Thursday, October 12,2023. He was 85 years old. John was born in Catasauqua, Pa. To John M. Panik & Mary (Lubenetsky) Panik. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia of 35 years. He has two sons from a prior marriage John F. Panik Jr. & wife Michelle, Kevin R. Panik, & stepson,Neil Frank DeLuca.
He has three grandchildren;
Carissa Panik(Radig) & husband Taran, John Francis Panik III & wife Alana, Amanda Panik.
Siblings: Agnes Hetrich (deceased), Dora Panik(deceased), William Panik (deceased), Stepsister,Shirley Bartholomew(deceased), Stepbrother, Walter Panik & wife Terri in Arizona.
Stepmother: Hilda Hessinger (deceased)
John enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1957. He retired in 1978 as a Master Sgt. at Patrick Air Force Base, Melbourne,Fl. after honorably serving twenty-two and a half years. He was employed at RCA & Computer Science Raytheon at Patrick AFB as a Systems Analyst where he retired after 20 yrs.
John had a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Rollins College. He was a member at Patrick AFB Manatee Golf Club where he played many wonderful rounds of golf with his friends. John & Pat are members at Ascencion Catholic Church in Melbourne. He truly will be missed, but remains in our heats forever.
All Services will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Ascencion Catholic Church, US1,Melbourne, Fl.
Church Visitation Starts: 10am (1-hour)
Catholic Mass Starts: 11am (1-hour)
Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims Fl. US-1 Interment Starts : 2pm (driving immediately following mass).

I had many fun rounds of golf with John. and worked with him for many years at PAFB. He was a very good friend and will be greatly missed.
