John Pasko (83) of Lake Worth, FL passed away on August 9, 2024. He passed peacefully with his wife Cheryl Pasko at his side at home. John was born on June 17, 1941 to Walter Pasko and Evelyn Webeck. He grew up in Montello Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin as a young man.
John was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting ducks at Rush Lake in Wisconsin. He also hunted deer and pheasant. He won many competitions as a trap shooter.
John was a manager at Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee where he worked for over 30 years. He helped modernize their engine manufacturing processes for lawn mower electronics. He traveled internationally to bring back robotic technologies to use in the company's production lines and to improve supply logistics. He was well liked by his employees and had one of the factory's largest retirement send off parties from all 3 shifts at the factory.
John married Cheryl in 1963 and was married to Cheryl for 61 years. They had 2 children: son Dean Pasko-Perez (husband Alexander Pasko-Perez) and daughter Shawn Pasko (div. Gary Cmejla). Shawn passed away in 1996.
John was one of ten children. Brothers who have passed are Duke Carlson, Dale Carlson (Patricia), Jimmy Pasko (Bonnie Elias) and Robert Pasko (div. Judy). John has 5 sisters. Gail Fode (Jerry) resides in Wisconsin. Sisters who have passed are Lorraine Shakelford (Leo), Carol Scott (Robert), Jeanie Hulse (Mel), and Bonnie Pasko (div. Robert Gajewski).
John is loved and leaves many cherished memories with his family including many nephews and nieces and long time friends.
Celebration of Life gatherings will be held in Florida and in Wisconsin.
