Mr. John Paul Chapman Lindler, age 60 of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born July 26, 1963, in Cabarrus County to the late Rev. John David Lindler and Gwendolyn Chapman Lindler. John was employed by TriSeal Inc., a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pfafftown and a member of the Lewisville Fire Department for 44 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Lindler. Surviving is his wife, Karen Groce Lindler; one sister, Ruth Anne Lindler; one niece, Sarah Baucom (William); three nephews, Nathan Groce (Bayley), Michael Lindler (WanMei) and Joseph Groce (Kaitlyn); three great nieces, Lauren and Mia Groce and Caroline Baucom; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Lorene Groce; one brother-in-law, Greg Groce (Helen) and one sister-in-law, Barbara McKinney (Terry). A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel by Rev. Matt Knuppel and Dr. Bill White. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the service in the Shiloh Lutheran Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Grace Lutheran Church, PO Box 1735 Clemmons, NC 27012.
