John Aldo Pilutti born July 26th 1942 passed away at peace on March 18th, 2026 surrounded by lots of love and family. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Milliken Pilutti and his father Aldo Oliver Pilutti.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judith L. Pilutti of Raleigh, NC. His brother James & Suellen Pilutti of Irondale, Ohio. His brother and sister in law, John P. & Susan L. Wing. His sons (John B. Pilutti, Micheal B. & Stacy Pilutti, and Pete C. Anderson) of Columbus, Ohio and Raleigh, NC. His grandchildren (Greyson & Chelsea Pilutti, John C. Pilutti, Michael C. Pilutti, Nate J. Pilutti, Stephanie & Zack Kearns, Frances Pilutti and Emma Grayce Whitley-Anderson) of Columbus, Ohio & Raleigh, NC. As well as lots of other loving extended family.

John was born in East Liverpool, Ohio to Alice and Aldo Pilutti. He grew up in the small town of Irondale, Ohio. John was active in scouting and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He also played football and the trombone. He was a man of many talents. He graduated Valedictorian from Irondale high school. He got his undergraduate degree from Kent State University and went on to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. After graduating, he served several Presbyterian [USA] Churches in Wisconsin for over 20 years. In 1991, he began serving as a development officer with the Presbyterian Foundation, which required a move to North Carolina. He continued that for seventeen years until he chose to retire.

He was also the president of the Homeowners Board where he resided. He enjoyed being very social. He began a Bocce/Cornhole lunch group of clergy retirees and friends. They have enjoyed each others company for over 30 years. John loved to write and devoted a lot of time to writing family history. He loved to play card games to pass the time and was very lucky. He fully supported Ohio State Football and Duke Basketball. He loved to take walks and enjoy the breeze in the air. He and Judy were very active in the family reunion called 'PiluttiFest'. They enjoyed keeping the family close and it was John's wish to continue family traditions.
