John Plecenik Obituary
Age 55, of Turtle Creek, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. John is survived by his brother, Robert M. Plecenik. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Gloria Ann Plecenik. John is also survived by his cousins and friends.
John enjoyed making memories with his brother while attending Pittsburgh sports games, especially the Steelers. Before his mother passed, he loved doing jigsaw puzzles with her. John especially loved music and attended as many concerts as he could.

I grew up on 7th St. in Turtle Creek and next door to Johnny and Bobby (Georgie, and Lori too). And while it has been over 40 years since I've seen them, I still have many wonderful childhood memories. I wrote song entitled "7th Street" that mentions the Pleceniks (among others). In my mind, this captures a time when we all still had the the air of innocence in these simpler times. Take some solace that this will immortalize his memory. My condolences to you Bob.
