He was born March 16, 1972 in Wheeling, WV to John & Barbara Hinds Ponko.
John was a member of Harbor of Hope Church in St. Clairsville, OH.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nicole Ponko.
John is survived by his parents, John & Barbara Ponko; children, Katelyn Ponko, Brea Foster, and Zach Foster; and grandchildren, Cameron Ponko, Jacob Ponko, Farrah Foster, Fallan Foster, Faith Foster, and Freya Foster.
According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311).

Pete and Barb, We were surprised and saddened to learn of John Paul's illness and passing. You were selfless parents both in your giving, caring and as Barb says "doing" ... not just for him but for his family. I know that not only was he fortunate for that but he is eternally grateful! You are in our thoughts and we pray for peace during your time of mourning.
