John Clark Ramos

t is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Clark Ramos on January 09, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
John Clark Ramos was born on October 06, 1961, in Dallas, Texas to Julia Jimenez (Gonzalez).
John graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. In his earlier years, he was a member in Los Royal Classic Car Club. He enjoyed installing auto sound systems, hydraulics, photography and boxing.
He married his sweetheart and recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Together, they had two children, daughter Lucinda and son John.
John marked his 31-year work anniversary with Auto Zone and 21-year work anniversary with Home Depot this past year. He enjoyed his work family and took pride in his profession. He was a familiar face around the Oak Cliff community. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and numerous other projects. Over the years, he was ordained as a minister, officiating weddings and performing baptisms. Leaving behind a legacy of hard work and wisdom.
Whether it was fixing things around the house, building something from scratch, or teaching those around him. He believed that hard work was the key to success.
He possessed a deep dedication to cooking for those around him. John will be remembered by his smoked brisket, burnt ends, wings, desserts and an endless number of other dishes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, dinning out and taking mini road trips around Texas.
He was interested in history, enjoyed supernatural shows, and loved classic movies.
Above all, John was a family man. He loved his family with all his heart. His home was a place of warmth, laughter, and the meals he loved to cook. For him, food was a way to share his love.
His advice was always grounded in years of life experience. His wisdom extended far beyond his years, and his ability to listen and offer guidance.
John leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory. His impact will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he touched, and his legacy of love, hard work, and generosity will continue.
John is survived by beautiful wife, Connie Ramos; son, John Ramos and wife Regina; daughter, Lucinda Cortez and husband Arturo; brother, Kerrington Ramos; sister, Christine Rivera; grandchildren Cassandra Cortez, Joseph Ramos, Develynn Ramos, Mia Ramos and many other loving family and friends.
