John Ribisi Obituary
A devoted husband for 58 years, John leaves behind his beloved wife, JoAnn Ribisi, with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. He was the proud father of JoAnn Erwin, Justina Beck, Jamie Ribisi-Braley, and Joy Josephine, and cherished grandfather to Kristina Erwin. He also leaves behind his much-loved sons-in-law Samuel Erwin Jr., Chris Beck, and Brian Braley.
John was predeceased by his parents, Carmelo and Filippa Ribisi, his brother Joseph Ribisi, and his sister Frances Ribisi. He is survived by his sister, Mary Kenny, who continues to carry forward the family's stories and memories.
A dedicated and hardworking man, John ran Unlimited Screw Products, a successful hardware company that reflected his determination, skill, and entrepreneurial spirit. He raised his family in Kings Park, New York, where his work ethic and generosity shaped the lives of those around him. John had a deep love for the New York Yankees, and he enjoyed the excitement of visiting the casino as often as possible. Above all, he was a natural storyteller-someone who could captivate a room with his vivid recollections, humor, and charm. His stories, like his presence, will be deeply missed.
A celebration of John's life will be held this summer in New York, with the date to be announced. In lieu of flowers please send donations in his name to The Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, organizations that he cherished.
