John A. Roberts

John A. Roberts of Scituate, MA passed away peacefully on December 20th, 2025, Solstice weekend. He was the son of Marjorie Leila and Lawrence Roberts of Lynn, MA.
For 40 years, John has been the beloved husband of Anne Tucker Roberts of Scituate, MA. He was a gentle soul with a peaceful demeanor and was a quiet teacher.
For 30 years John was a dedicated computer operator at State Street Bank. Prior, he was proud to have served as a Marine from January 1958 to December 1964. And at age 80, he fulfilled his long-term dream and parachuted from a plane twice.
John was a loving father of Christine Sullivan (Pembroke, MA) and Jason Roberts (d. June 1996) and is a grandfather to three grandchildren: Sean, Kyle, and Leah. He has been a wonderful brother-in-law to Duane and Marion Tucker, Mary Evelyn Tucker and John Grim, Paul and Maggie Moss-Tucker, Carlton and Kathleen Tucker, Libby Tucker, and Peter and Sara Tucker. John was also a special uncle to Michael and Rachel Tucker, Caitlin Tucker, Jonathan and Tara Tucker, and Jennie and Alex Kissin. John's life was enriched by his great nephews and niece: Hayes and India Tucker and Weston Kissin.
