CROOKSVILLE
John Douglas Robison, 92, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Genesis Hospital. He was born January 27, 1932, in Roseville to the late Perry and Leone Koble Robison. John was employed as a truck driver for CW Transport and in his spare time he loved to travel and fish. He was a Jehovah's Witness, and his ministry was very important to him. His love for his family was unsurpassable. He also had a great love for birds and animals.
He is survived by his wife Elma Corp Robison; his children: Tim Robison (Paige), Ted Robison (Melanie), Sherry Robison Carroll (Scott) and Troy Robison (Cathy); a brother Roger Robison; three sisters: Jane Henning, Sue Lacrone and Mary Ann Blagg; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Gladys Smith Robison, who passed away April 10, 2010; two brothers: David Robison and Corwin Robison; and a sister Marjorie "Marg" Brown.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3PM Saturday, May 11, 2024, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Joe Kopchak will begin speaking at 3PM.
