John Robert Rohde

Rohde John Robert Sept. 25, 1948 - Jan. 30, 2026 Navy veteran and West Chester University graduate. John worked in Philadelphia and Chester County, however, his primary career was coaching youth level and high school lacrosse. He coached his three sons at Malvern Prep, building Malvern's program into an Inter-Ac champion and national powerhouse (1995-2002). 2002 PSLA coach of the year. John then continued his coaching at Unionville High School (2004-2012), also serving as a special education paraprofessional on behalf of the CCIU. John is survived by this wife, Madalene, sons Matthew (Lisa), Jeffrey, Ryan (Emma), and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Timothy School Development Fund.
