John Ronesi Obituary
The youngest son of the late Alfredo and Vincenza Macioce Ronesi, John was a 1953 graduate of Waterford High School and a lifelong resident of Waterford. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford and served there as an usher for 20 years.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Joseline St Germain Ronesi; a sister Dorothy Ronesi Elkins; and two brothers, Quito and Domonick Ronesi.
Survivors include his children, Lynne Ronesi and John Ronesi (Karen); grandchildren, Jake Ronesi (Kathleen), Max Ronesi, and Leela Chatterji; great-daughter, Charlotte Ronesi; and several nephews.
A veteran of the US Army, John served in Germany, returning to Waterford to work for Nashua Corp, formerly Behr Manning and Norton Company, for more than 40 years.
John was an advocate of nutritional healing. He had a vast library on the subject and was a testament to this lifestyle, remaining healthy and active into his late 80s. John was a collector of historic glass and porcelain insulators and was a member of Crown Jewels of the Wire for several years.
A memorial service will be Monday December 29 at 1 pm at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the funeral on Monday from 11 am – 1 pm.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.

Dear Ronesi Family I am so sorry for your loss.
I do not know if I ever met John but I may have
when I was a younster at my Uncle Quito's home
during a family gathering.
(Aunt Doris was my Mom, Olive's sister)
I can see how John & Quito looked alike. (Jerry too)
