John Rose

John Rose, age 57, of Ripley passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Lauderdale Community Hospital. He was a long-time worker of Tennessee Electroplating, and a proud and loving father and grandfather. Happy-go-lucky and always ready with a joke and a smile, John was the person to be around if you needed cheering up. His absence will be felt by all who knew and loved him.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his three daughters, Jessica, Melissa, and Allison; thirteen grandchildren, Chrissa, Marcel, Jacob, Dominik, Ala, Kaylee, Jessa, Zakkery, Addison, Madison, Chloe, Ava, and Jada, and his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Rodney Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward and Alma Jean Rose.

Funeral services for John Rose will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Morrison Cemetery in Brighton, Tennessee. Visitation for friends and family will begin two hours priot to the service at the funeral home.
