Tammy Leopard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Covington Funeral Home on Feb. 20, 2026.
Tammy Michelle Leopard, born on April 19, 1964, passed away on February 19, 2026 at her home in Brighton. She was a caregiver for children and the elderly alike and spent her 61 years of life in love and service to others. Mrs. Tammy or "Memaw" as most people knew her, always made sure that everyone was taken care of.

While she enjoyed the peace and quiet of reading and having her "me time," she truly loved when her whole family would get together. She cracked jokes like a pro, and once she got going, her joy and laughter would have you laughing as well! Outspoken and fiesty, but with a positivity about her, Mrs. Tammy didn't waste time with negative energy in her life, and was known to do a sage cleanse every now and again to reset her space. She loved her family, her friends and her faith, and will be missed dearly.

To cherish her memory, she is survived by her husband, Randy Leopard of Covington; her daughter, Mary Kathryn Leopard (Mary "Lou Lou" Miles) of Covington; her grandchildren, Charles Lance Whitehead of Mississippi, Brady Cole Whitehead and Jordan Andrew Greenhaw of Covington, and Jayden Alexander Miles of Covington; one sister, Teresa Ann Sage (Terry Sage) of Brighton; one brother, Patrick Daughtery (Kayla Daughtery) of Covington; her cousin whom she loved like a sister, Rita Ferrell (Bill) of Covington, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Roby and Peggy Ann Bowles McClain, and her daugher, Chasity Ann McClain.

Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home, and there is no memorial service planned at this time.
