Stan Martin

Stanton Lowell Martin, born on October 20, 1946 in Junction City, Kansas, passed away on February 3, 2026 at the age of 79 at his home in Millington, Tennessee.

Stan worked for many years as a machinist for the Kimberly Clark Corporation and later the Charms Candy Company. He loved to fix things and do a little tinkering, and his work as a machinist gave him all the know-how to do so. He even built his very own custom motorcycle!

He was a giver, a caretaker, and often times his quiet and loving nature meant that he listened more than he spoke, but he wanted to make sure that others knew they were cared for. In his younger years, he traveled to car shows and was quite the car enthusiast, but as the years he went by, he took up the more peacful hobby of fishing.

To cherish his memory, Stan is survived by his wife, Kimberley Martin; his two sons,J. D. Martin and Slade Martin; three grandchildren, and his step-daughter, Sadie Ridgley. He was preceded in death by his parents; one bother; one sister, and his late wife, Sherryl Martin.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at the Quito Memorial Cemetery at 12 noon. Reverend Brad Jordan will officiate the service.
