Ronnie Michael "Mack" Easley of Brighton passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis at the age of 75. He was a maintenance worker for ITW - Paslode for over 30 years.

In his free time, Mack was known to work a crossword puzzle (or ten.)"Mackdaddy," as he was affectionately called, also enjoyed reading, and was a fan of science fiction books. In his younger years, he liked to go fishing, but as he got older he took up golfing and spent countless hours out on "the green."

Mack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeri Easley; his children, Beth (J.J.) Bryant and Chuck Easley; his grandchildren, Jacob (Erin) Bryant, Jarron (Haley) Bryant, Jesse (Sophie) Bryant, and Braylon Easley; six great-grandchildren and one on the way, and his siblings, David Easley and Betty Jo Stephens.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Easley; his mother and step-father, Thelma and Charles Baker; his siblings, Carolyn Murray, Charles Easley, Jimmy Easley, Tim Easley, and Donna Beasley, and one great-grandchild, Janie Mae Bryant.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 14th at Covington Funeral Home from 12 noon until 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Tipton County Animal Shelter, or the charity of your choice.
