John Wayne Rosson

John Wayne Rosson, age 66 of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side. John was born February 25, 1959 in La Marque, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Santa Fe. John was a master carpenter and had a hand in constructing a lot of homes in Galveston County. He had a big heart that touched the lives of countless people. John could tell some of the funniest stories. John would keep the lawnmowers and tractors in shape, get the garden ready to plant every spring and till it under in the fall. His favorite hobby was sitting on the porch listening to music and watching his favorite rerun western shows. John is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ailene Rosson; sister, Joye Meadows.

John is survived by his sisters, Beth Doherty, Donna Williams and husband Randy; brother, Curtis Rosson and wife JoAnn; along with aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM.
