John Russo, Jr. age 62, of Crystal, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born March 16, 1962, to John & Karen (Jones) Russo. John loved Camping with his wife Sue and Children, watching crime shows like CSI, Blue Bloods, 48 hours and NCIS. John also liked watching UFC on Saturday nights with his son and eating good food. John looked forward to having Dinner with his Siblings once a month and family gatherings during the Holidays. John loved being a Dad, and Poppy. His proudest moments were being with his kids and grandchildren. His wife Sue was his best friend and the love of his life, in which he would mention every day. John is survived by his children Kelly Miller of Orleans, Richard (Katie) Miller of Crystal, Ashley Russo of Orleans and Antonina Russo of Holland; 7 grandchildren David, James, Jacob, Jordan, Tylor, Destiny and Elizabeth; Four Great grandchildren Kierra, Evelyn, William and Calliope; sisters Pam (Tom) Konieczki of Allendale and Tina (Rob) McDonald of Newaygo; brothers Richard (Carol) Cowell of Grand Rapids and James (Marie) Sherwood of Byron Center; sisters in law Robin (Bob) Williams of Stanton, Brenda Sniff of Stanton, Beth Brooks of Bay City; brother in law Kirt (Elizabeth) Johnson of North Dakota and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Susan Russo on March 5, 2022. Memorial contributions in John's name can be made to Marshalls Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
