A friend of mine showed this obituary today. I'm in California, so I didn't know any sooner. I'm stunned. I knew John from high school in Perth Amboy. We did date for a short while, but decided we were better off as friends. Sorry to hear he passed. He was one of the good guys. RIP. My condolences to his family.

He was a great person to work with. I always remember him joking and laughing.

John made me laugh so much whenever we went to the diner for lunch on Fridays the soup was always seafood and he called it fish head soup. We still call it that to this day. Will NEVER forget you.

John was the first friend I made when I transferred to IKEA Elizabeth back in 2002. Over the course of 16 years he became a friend, my boss and I always thought of him as my mentor. In business, he never steered me wrong. Over the past few years I'd hear from him periodically, always ending the conversation with a promise of meeting up with him and Wanda at some point. Never exactly got to do that. My condolences to Wanda, Nick and the rest of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

John was the hardest and most dedicated worker I ever worked with. I loved going to lunch and our conversations. I will miss him and was hoping he would move to Florida that was always his dream
