John Alphonsus Ryan

John Alphonsus Ryan of Lake Havasu City, AZ died December 5th, 2025, at the age of 74. John was born on December 8th,1950 in Tipperary, Ireland. He immigrated from Ireland at the age of 18 but always looked back with pride at his Irish heritage.

John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria; his four children, David (Erin) Ryan of Mesa, Az; Meaghan (Patrick) Wilhelm of Germany; Malachy (Delaney) Ryan of Loveland, Co; Lynsey (David) Bradley of Apple Valley, Ca, seven grandchildren and one on the way. He also leaves behind his sisters Margaret Black and Jacienta (Bobby) Ryan both who still live in Ireland and also many nieces and nephews.

John was a loving husband and father and was very proud of the accomplishments of his children as they grew up and began their own family. He cherished every moment spent with them and loved watching each one reach new milestones. He was full of insightful wisdom and never missed an opportunity to share his guidance and support with them.

John moved to Lake Havasu City in 1978 and started a successful landscaping business building rock walls and planting trees, leaving his mark all over town. He was passionate about refereeing soccer, coaching soccer, track & field, and cross-country. In later years he was seen as an official at the track and cross country meets. He loved the youth of the community and enjoyed being involved in these various programs.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
