It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of John A. Savedra on July 30, 2025 at his home in Polvadera, NM. John was born on May 10th, 1971 in Socorro, NM. John was a man whose kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering strength touched the lives of all who knew him.
John lived life to the fullest,finding his greatest joy in the great outdoors where he felt most at peace. Whether camping under the stars or casting a line into tranquil waters he was rarely without his furry companions Chica and Joci. His love for country music and dancing brought joy to every occasion. There was rarely an occasion. John didn’t know every word to each song. He had such a great talent for carpentry and woodwork.
Above all, John’s deep love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. Nothing brought him greater happiness than seeing his loved ones come together to reminisce and celebrate life’s precious moments. His legacy of kindness, strength, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those he cherished.
John is preceded in death by his loving parents, Albert and Dorothy Savedra and his loving grandparents .John is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Otero and husband Dean and Debbie Abeyta. Brothers, Robert Savedra, and wife, Amy, Patrick Savedra and wife, Amanda, and Paul Savedra and wife Sandra. Loving girlfriend Bobbi Gonzales. Many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. They will forever treasure the memories of a man who lived with passion of life without limits.

San Miguel Catholic Church, Socorro, New Mexico
Rosary at 9:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.
