John V. "Jack" Scheurich, Jr., 68, died peacefully, with family at his side, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Palm Beach, FL, Jack earned his Bachelors degree from Bates College in Lewiston, ME. He retired as a Project Manager for Grand Prix International. An avid Red Sox fan and voracious reader, Jack was a history buff and, above all, enjoyed spending time with family. He was predeceased by his mother Mary (Myers) Scheurich and his sister Deborah (Scheurich) DaCruz. Jack will be dearly missed by his father John V. Scheurich, Sr. of Wilbraham, sisters; Cindy Van Hooydonk and her husband John of North Sutton, NH and Barbara Fisher and her husband Michael of York, ME. Jack was the favorite uncle to Lisa Bodzinski (Joseph), Jill Evans, Sam Fisher, Nate Fisher, Andrew Van Hooydonk, Carly Fisher and Angel Fisher. Jack's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 13th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Fountain Park on Tinkham Rd. in Wilbraham. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orchard Valley at Wilbraham, Attn: Executive Director, 2387 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, MA 01095.
