John Keith "Schooly" Schoolcraft, 68, of Mingo Jct., OH passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center.
He was born on February 2, 1957 to the late Sherrill and Sophia (Dojonovic) Schoolcraft. John was a 1975 graduate of Mingo High School, and worked for AEP as a Heavy machine operator and worked the dock. He also was a fluid Specialist for a Oil Tank company later in life.
He is survived by his wife Janice Fay (Jackson) Schoolcraft of 41 years, one brother Brian Schoolcraft of Macedonia, OH, sister Lynda (Bob) Riesbeck of Florida, four sister in laws Gina, Pam, Barbara, and Madelon, two brother in laws Paul and Frank, Seven nieces, three nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews, his cats Ping Pong, Chica, BeBe, and White Foot. John was a fun loving guy, played guitar for Friends, and enjoyed cooking for his sister in laws, john will be forever missed.
There will be no service per Johns request. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
