John Scotto, age 81, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023 at his home in Mount Laurel surrounded by his loving family.
John was born in Monte DiProcida, Italy on May 28, 1941 to the late Enrica an Gennaro Scotto. John formerly resided in Marlton, NJ. John was the owner/operator of Scotto's Pizza from which he retired in 2007. He was strong in his faith to God and loved spending time with his family and friends. In his free-time he enjoyed making his own wine. John will be missed deeply by his loved ones.
John is predeceased by his son, John Scotto, Jr. and his brother Vinny Scotto. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Gioconda (nee Esposito); his children, Enrica Passariello, Annette Passariello (Giovanni) and Jerry Scotto (Rosemary); his sister, Francesca Della Ragione; grandchildren, CJ Passariello, Gianni Passariello, Julia Passariello, Enzo Passariello, Pio Passariello, Luca Scotto and Jemma Scotto.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's viewing on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W Main St, Moorestown, NJ 08057. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
