WIND LAKE - Friday, December 23, 2022. Age 74. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Smith) for 45 years. Brother of Mary Ann (Carl) Hazelwood and Cara (David) Gerspach. Uncle of Susan Brick, Holly (Dean) Shallow, Lynn Behling, Ryan Hazelwood, Eric Gerspach and Jeffrey Gerspach. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Services are pending.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Norway Lutheran Church, Wind Lake, or the Wisconsin Humane Society, Elkhorn, appreciated.

My heart is filled with so many memories of John in my life....Santa Claus, fishing, dinners, celebrating and so much more. I am so happy for the time we shared together. John will always be a part of my family. I am so glad I was a part of his. Our deepest, heartfelt condolences Barbara.

My heart goes out to you ,Barb. I will always see John as he gathered the mail or walking Molly. Mike was always so pleased to see John as he would always stop with a neighborly "Hi!" and pleasant conversation We are so fortunate to have known him. God Bless.
