John Shipman Obituary
He was surrounded by family whom he loved and that loved him dearly.
John was born June 5, 1949 in Hobbs New Mexico. He spread joy and laughter through conversations and his positive attitude leaving nothing behind but friendship and happiness. His main priority was family, visiting multiple states to be with and connect with everyone he could. Mr. Shipman was important and loved by everyone that got to call him Dad, Grandpa, and friend. He was always there when you called and didn't hesitate to help whenever and wherever he was needed. John truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, fishing and walking his dog Mira.
He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his sister; Barbara Bailey; son; John B. Shipman, daughter; Barbara Schultz and husban, JJ Schultz and daughter Angeline Shipman. With many other friends and grandchildren that will carry his memory as well. This is not a goodbye - this is simply "see you later".
