John Simon Obituary
June 10, 1932 - August 9, 2025
John started working with the Army Corps of Engineers in 1961. He spent 34 years with the Corps with the last 18 years serving as the Chief of the Omaha District Construction Division.
John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellevue and the Knights of Columbus.
Preceded in death by his wife, Rose; sister, Mary Lou Schaal. Survived by his daughters and their spouses, Julie Stangl and Scot, Jill Terry and David, Jodi Moore and Scott; grandchildren, Will, Ben and Andrew Stangl, David Terry, Stacey Bergman (Chance), Michael Terry (Skyler), Jenna Terry, Josie and Libby Moore; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Terry, Miles Bergman, Matilda Bergman, Ashton Terry.
Visitation: Thursday, August 14, 10 a.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 11 a.m., both at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2302 South Crawford Street, Bellevue 68005. Private Committal Service.
