John Frederick Smith Jr., 49, of Parkville, passed away at his home on May 6, 2024. John had a passion for music, especially playing the guitar and being part of various bands. His love for tabletop gaming brought joy and connection to those around him. However, above all his interests and hobbies, the time he cherished most was that spent with his son, Cullen. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Robin Knight Smith; and his father, John F. Smith Sr.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Stacey L. Smith (nee Weaver); loving mother, Elsie E. Smith; cherished son, Cullen Sean-Patrick Smith; "bonus" daughters, Kasey Stubbles (Chase), Kairo Burns and Morgan Burns; and his dear sisters, Jessica Hawkins (Rick) and JoAnne Smith (John Reichling). He will also be missed by his adored nieces, Lila Hawkins, Erica Hans Hawkins (Aaron), Allison Cone (Don) and their families.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services on Sunday, May 19th, from 12 – 1 PM. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel.
