He was born in Jamestown, TN on February 22, 1967 to Clinton Smith and Virgie (Graves) Adkins.
He is survived by his mother, of Strasburg; children, Shawn Smith and Lexie Smith, both of Brewster; grandchildren, Sophia and Connor Smith; and a brother, C.J. Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Annie Smith; and his step-father, Russel Adkins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
