John Geering Snook

In the memory of the recent passing on 27 January 2025, of John Geering Snook, born in Albany, New York on 10 July 1938. He was the only son of John Augustus Snook, both from New York and California. The Snook family legacy may have ended with John G and his father but will not be forgotten for their contributions.
John G. Snook Passed away peacefully at the Spanish Peaks Medical Center in Walsenburg while being transferred into the VA long term facility. As prior service record indicated, John was in the Army Air as First Lieutenant Major in political science, and Foreign Service Officer out of U.S. Army personnel center in Fort Dix, New Jersey; with honorable discharge on 12 August 1963, he received medals from both Germany and Berlin.
Following in his father's footsteps in Brooklyn as a cashier, John G chose to get a real estate license in California selling properties and yachts throughout the West and South while maintaining a healthy lifestyle golfing as a sport and avid fisherman.
John G had wished prior that any proceeds or cash distributions be sent to his favorite place, Phi Gamma Delta Annual Golf Tournaments or me, his adopted son and his successor trustee, Robert J House.
