John Matthew Sosebee, age 66, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Blue Ridge, GA. John was born July 25, 1958, in Buford, GA to Guy Ernest Sosebee and Ethel Free Sosebee.
John was preceded in death by his brother, James Sosebee; and sisters, Annie Ruth Farr, Mary Jo Brown, and June Lowe.
He is survived by his son, Ernest Sosebee; daughters, Chasity Flowers, Tonya Combs, and T.J. Stanley; sister, Martha Tanner; brother, Herman Junior Sosebee; grandchildren, Christian Hubbard, Emma Hubbard, Breanna Stanley, Johnny Stanley, Logan Stanley, Tiffany Priest, Miranda Stennett, and Makayla Salmon.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral Service, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jeffrey Farr officiating.The North Georgia Honor Guard will perform Military Honors.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ernest Sosebee, Christian Hubbard, Johnny Stanley, Logan Stanley, Whitley Barnes, and Blake Dockery.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Cemetery in Dawsonville, GA.
The family will receive friends at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blue Ridge Chapel on Sunday, May 04, 2025 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
