I met John at Ballys health club on N. French Rd. Amherst the 80's. We quickly became close friends. There are so many wonderful memories to reminisce of which I will always cherish. I moved to Florida in 1999 but we kept in touch often. I would come to Buffalo in the summer and for the holidays to visit my family and there was never a trip to Buff that didn't include time spent with John. Up until his passing we would talk via email and not by phone as his voice was getting weaker. This summer circumstances kept me from coming here this year and I am heartbroken. I had been emailing him and getting no response. over the last couple of months and had no way of finding out what was going on. I am grateful for the most recent time spent with him and will miss him dearly.

Carolyn, we are so sorry for your loss. I met John back in 1982, where he trained me at Harper. We sailed, listened to jazz and partied for many years. Halloween parties were our favorite. John stood up in our wedding. Diane used to save him a spot in abs class at Bally´s, which he always appreciated. We will miss him and all those times we shared. Sorry we missed the wake and funeral. We are living in AZ.

Hi Carol. I worked with John for over 20 yrs at Harper. He and I had a blast together over the years. He made it a wonderful time.
In recent years we only communicated thru notes in Xmas cards and an occasional phonecall.
I´m very sorry I cannot make the wake or the funeral.
I´m going to miss him. He was more than just a friend.
