AIKEN, SC - John Melvin St. Clair, 86, passed away on Monday, June 5th, 2023 at Brandon Wilde Retirement Community in Evans, GA. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

John was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Melvin John and Katherine Kauss St. Clair. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy from Lehigh University and was a proud member of Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity and the Tower Society. He was an owner/operator of a steel warehouse and became a respected figure in the field.

John took pride in being an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was also passionately involved with various organizations including the American Society of Metals, the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and co-founder of Aiken Relay For Life Golf Classic. As John was enjoying all the benefits of retirement at Brandon Wilde Retirement Community, his favorite activity was his morning Men’s Coffee Group.

But above all else, John cherished his family deeply.
