John M. Stanford, born on September 16 1963, passed away on December 20, 2025. He was a devoted individual who cherished his family and friends, making lasting memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.
John dedicated 11 years of his life to working at Heinz in Massillon, a role he fulfilled with diligence and commitment - he later retired in 2025. His work ethic and dedication were admired by his colleagues, and he was known for his ability to create a supportive and positive atmosphere among his peers.
John leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his brother, Jay (Rosie) Stanford, Jr.; his sisters, Darlene (Kenny Coleman) Stanford, Brenda Stanford, and Beverly Barnard; sister in law, Renee Stanford; as well as his niece, Nicole (Kenny) Young, and nephews, Mikah Stanford, Wyatt Barnard, Jason (Jenna) Stanford, Jordan (Michael Leff) Stanford, and Brad Coleman. He also leaves behind numerous great nieces and great nephews who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.
John was preceded in death by his father, Jay Stanford, Sr.; his mother, Barbara Stanford; his brother, Tim Stanford; and his niece, Jennifer Coleman. Their memories will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him.
John M. Stanford will be remembered for his deep love for family and friends, an unwavering spirit, and the joy he brought into the lives of many. His presence will greatly be missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire those remaining.
Visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, located at 1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646. This will be followed by a funeral service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
