John M. Steward

John Michael Steward of Georgetown, Texas passed on to heaven Friday, November 25th, 2022 while at his favorite place on Earth, Steward Ranch.
John was born November 7, 1958 in Austin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father John Parker Steward, his mother Eleanor Ann Steward, and his sister Carol A. Steward. John is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pamela Jean Steward, son Brandon Michael Steward and daughter in law Sara Steward, daughter Britnee Kristel Gifford, and grandchildren Mason Parker Steward, Micah Nasche, Makenna Nasche, Trulee Gifford, sister Schere Allen and brother in law Harold Allen, nephew Ross Allen and wife Sarah Allen, nephew Justin Allen, aunt Bernice and many extended nieces and nephews.
John was raised in Austin, Texas where he graduated from Lanier High School in 1976. He went on to Southwest Texas State University where he completed a degree in Business Marketing and Management. Shortly after graduating college John joined his mother, Eleanor Steward, and sister Schere Allen at Farmers Insurance. He spent 33 years as a proud part of Farmers Insurance Group and thrived in his career.
John was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending any free time he had fishing and hunting. He used his passion and knowledge for both to teach anyone willing to learn. He defined compassion, kindness and love. John loved the Lord and lived a fulfilling life through Him. A man who didn't have an ill willed bone in his body, always looking to love and serve those around him. John loved hunting and fishing and has spent the last few years of his life after retiring from Farmers Insurance to live out those passions of shooting his next deer or catch his next big bass.
John will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of his life will take place in early 2023.
