John Edward Stocker Jr.

John Edward Stocker, Jr., passed away peacefully November 20, 2025 at Chapel Hill Community Hospice. John was born December 25, 1932 to John and Marjorie (Wagner) Stocker in Barberton, Ohio. He married his high school sweetheart Rosemarie Kruft in 1949 and enjoyed 76 years together.
Family was everything to John and Rose and he took pride in watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joan Floyd, daughter, Christine Gallagher (Michael) and son James Stocker (Pamela).
John is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie, children Jan Shillingburg (Bill), John E. Stocker III, Jeffrey Stocker (John) and Margie Stocker (Stacie), grandchildren Vivian Walls (Mark), Kelli Miller (Rich), John Stocker IV, Kristen Ashby (Bryan), Jason Gallagher, Shannon Ruff (Mike), Melissa Augenstein (Matt), Brian Stocker (Lauren) and Amanda Smith (Jake), great-grandchildren Skylar and Hadley Walls, Connor and Mason Ashby, Megan and Averi Miller, Ashur, Leighton and Silas Augenstein, Parker, Nolan and Olivia Ruff, Evie Stocker, Kate and Anne Stocker, and Myles and Kendall Smith. Also surviving are his sister Nancy Sgro (Chuck) and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Chapel Hill Community for their loving care and kindness towards John. He will be cremated and there will be no services.
