Roger Williams

Roger Williams, 75, of Cuyahoga Falls died unexpectedly on January 13th. Roger lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1968 and from the University of Akron in 1972. He worked in the insurance industry for Hartford Insurance and CNA Insurance. Roger was among the first karaoke producers in northeast Ohio and performed at many locations in the Cleveland and Akron areas. He was passionate about music, his guitars, and dogs, Stuart and Gibson.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Reuben (Kolb) and Thelma Williams of Cuyahoga Falls and his brother Ronald L. Williams of Washington D.C. He is survived by brothers Jon (Carol) of Largo, Florida and Michael (Sharon) of Akron. Nieces and nephews: Ron, Troy, Wendy, Chad, Wesley, and Steve and many great-nieces and nephews. He had many friends throughout northeast Ohio and maintained a close relationship with nephew and niece Ron and Lisa Williams of Tallmadge and their sons Michael of Akron and Nicholas of Addison, PA. There will be no service or memorial. In lieu of flowers please plant trees in memoriam via the Arbor Day Foundation or make a donation to the Sierra Club.
