John Raymond Sweda, of Cecil, WI, found peace on Sept 12th, 2024.
John was born on November 5th, 1948, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was a successful businessman, army veteran, all-around handyman and avid fisherman. The only thing he loved more than fishing was his family and he loved them all with his whole heart.
He will be greatly missed by his loving partner, Kathleen Day; beloved children: Tamra Johnson, Dustie Hailey, Tracy (Ben) Albrecht, Jessica (Keon) Collins and Max (Liz) Day; dearest grandchildren: Mel (Cyle), Tanner, Simone, Troy (Maddie), Hunter, Althea, Mylo, Jack, Demetrius, Isabella, Evan, Maya, Beatrice and cherished great-grandchildren, Mariana and Theodore. John is also survived by his sisters Peggy (late Bill) and Cookie (Frank) and his cousin, Marlene (late Gene).
There are no words to describe how deeply John was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you are so moved, the family requests donations be made to a suicide awareness charity.
