Paul James Archambault

Paul James Archambault, 89, of Peshtigo, passed away September 26, 2025 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. He was born October 30, 1935 son of the late Gilbert and Mabel (Halverson) Archambault. He married the former Faye L. Harbick on June 24, 1967 and she preceded him in death June 14, 2017.

Paul, served 40 years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal on February of 1981 for his services in the field of Engineering. He retired from the U.S Air Force at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant on October 30, 1995. Paul worked at Thompson Boats and later retired after many years from Badger Paper Mill. As an avid lover of aviation, he regularly attended the EAA and was a private aviation pilot. His joy was flying his T6 Texan airplane. Paul's greatest pleasure was being with his grandkids and great grandkids. Paul was a regular at the Peshtigo Cafe and enjoyed having good food and a great conversation with anyone wanting to chat.

Paul is survived by a son, Alan (Becca) Archambault of Peshtigo; a daughter, Julie (Stacey) Hinzman of Marinette; 11 grandchildren, Cory (Bree) Chaltry; Danae (Josiah) Tesch; Amanda (Rex) Niemi; Brody Archambault; Alaina Archambault; Emma Kobus; Avie Kobus; Josef Alstatt; Amanda (Jim) Hinzman; Erika (Jeremiah) Hinzman; Megan (Issac) Hinzman.

9 great grandchildren; a sister, Cecilia (Wally) Schmidt; nieces and nephews; all of the Peshtigo Cafe employees; and his friend Diane Murphy.

He was preceded in death by, his father, Gilbert Archambault; mother, Mabel (Halverson) Archambault; brother, Phil Archambault; and brother-in-law, Weston T. (Tom) Harbick.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 13th at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 10:00 am until time of services at noon. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
