John C. Tamecki, born on March 25, 1959, in Somerville, New Jersey, passed away on February 16, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, New Jersey. He lived a life filled with compassion and dedication, exemplified by his role as an Occupational Support Person for the ARC of Hunterdon, where he provided invaluable assistance to those in need.
A proud organ donor, John's selfless act speaks volumes about his character and his commitment to helping others even beyond his lifetime. His memory will continue to live on through those lives he touched and enriched.
John is survived by his step-daughter, Michelle Mason of Hillsborough, NJ; his niece, Dawn Green and her husband, Dave of Stanhope, NJ; his sister-in-law, Janice Tamecki of Vero Beach, FL; as well as cousins, Bernie Barkouskie of Bethlehem, PA, Jim Reddinger of Harrisburg, PA, and May Anne Chupella of St. Augustine, FL. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Regina Tamecki; his father, Chester Tamecki; and his brother, Joseph Tamecki.
As we remember John, we celebrate a man who dedicated his life to service, leaving a legacy of kindness and support to both his family and community. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
