John Edward Taylor, age 68, passed away on March 28, 2023. He was he beloved husband of 42 years to Julie E. Taylor (nee West); loving father of Andrea Alexander (Bryan), Meggie, Amy, And Timmy (Alaina); cherished grandfather of Cora, Mac, Luke, Augie, Rhys and Corwyn; proud son of Jack and Jane (nee Weakland) Taylor; brother of Joe (deceased) and Ric (Jackie); uncle of many nieces and nephews. John worked in the financial departments of both the oil and gas industries and hospital industry. He retired at the end of 2016 after 12 years of service to the University Hospitals Healthcare Systems in Cleveland. In all John's working life, he tried to live with integrity, duty, and respect for all. John's faith in Christ was always his moral compass. We love and miss him but believe he is watching over us. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jakubs & Son Funeral Home of Cleveland is handling arrangements.

Margaret and I want to offer our condolences to the Taylor family. John and I worked together during his time at University Hospitals, and for years ate lunch together. I know John as a good Christain and family man who was knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics. John will be missed.
