JOHN E. "JACK" TRAINHAM

John "Jack" E. Trainham, 70, passed away surrounded by family on January 21, 2026. He was born in Ogdensburg to George "Pete" and Audrey (Nugent) Trainham. Jack was raised in Waddington, N.Y., and attended Waddington-Madrid school. A man of many talents, he would go on to work at Onondaga Tool Corp., Otis Spunkmeyer, Geddes Town Hall, and the New York State Fair. Most of all, Jack loved family get-togethers and spending time with friends.

Jack is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Richard Gregory, of Watertown; nephew, Peter Gregory; brothers-in-law, Daniel Ruscyzk and Edward Doring, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Doring) Trainham; brother-in-law, James (Trish) Doring; sisters-in-law, Donna Berry, Patty Rusczyk, and Rosemary (David) Hamm; uncle, Joseph Ashley of Farmington, New Mexico; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and lifelong friends, George Donie and Dan Daddario.
