John G. Underkoffler

John G. Underkoffler, age 92, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away at Brookview Health Care Center on
Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born October 5, 1931, in Williamstown, PA, he was the son of the late Francis
David and Della Mae Ruch Underkoffler.
Mr. Underkoffler was a graduate of Williamstown High School. He went on to work at Letterkenny Army
Depot, retiring as a Paint Shop Foreman in 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Scott Michael and wife, Ann Louise (Howe) Underkoffler and Tracy D. and wife,
Kwang Min “Mimi” (Pak) Underkoffler, all of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Adam Underkoffler, his
wife, Beth, and their daughters, Raleigh and Adalyn, Keri (Underkoffler) Layden, her husband, Rick, and
their children, Ava and Piper, Kyle Underkoffler, his wife, Kayla, and their daughters, Minta and
Brynleigh, and Karen (Underkoffler) Morrison, her husband, Chris, and their children, Katrina and Laila;
and a sister, Fietta Fesig and brother, Terry Burrows. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in
death by his beloved wife, Sarah Kegerreis, whom he married on October 24, 1953, and a brother, Jerry
Burrows.
In accordance with John’s wishes interment will be private in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
