Sharon L. Farner, 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 17, 1944, in Chambersburg, PA.
Sharon was a 1962 graduate of CASHS. She was a member of Grand Point Church where she was very involved with the Prayer Team, House of Grace, and various Bible Study Groups.
She is survived by her sons Terry L. Farner and his wife Connie of Chambersburg, PA; Jeffrey C. Farner and his wife Sandra of Alexandria, VA; grandsons Ezekial, Damian, and Dillinger; and brother Steve Cox. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles M. “Butch” Farner, who passed away in 2005; brother David Cox, and granddaughter Ashley Farner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Grand Point Church, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Scott Despres officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at the church.
