Joyce Farner Obituary
Joyce L Farner 68, West Salem returned home to Jesus on December 31, 2025 at her home surrounded her family. She was born on March 31, 1957, in Lodi, Ohio to parents Gordon and Opal (Norris) Senz. She graduated from Norwayne High School in 1975. She was the Co-Owner of Heavenly Delight in West Salem for 25 years and a member of the Church of God in West Salem.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jeff Farner whom she married November 3, 1990; children: Carrie Ferguson and Mark Senz; four grandchildren: Kayle, Gabe, Kelsey and Ben; many great grandchildren; siblings: Cyndie (Dwight) Parrish and James (Ann) Senz. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Sarno and siblings: Thelma, Olive, Ruth, Gordon Jr., Sarah and Arthur.
The visitation for Joyce will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem. The funeral will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Salem Church of God with Pastor Charles Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at West Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses PO Box 314, West Salem, Ohio 44287. Matteson Funeral Home is honored to serve Joyce’s family and the community.
